Don’t miss out on owning one of these rare and adorable cattle! Our miniature Highland cattle farm offers a limited supply each year, and they sell quickly.

How Our Cattle Breeding Started
Our cattle farming initially began as a pure hobby, focusing on nature friendly pasture grazing with “normal” Galloways and Highlands, along with direct marketing of beef. However, it didn’t take long before it became our full-time profession.
We stumbled upon Miniature Cattle more or less by accident. In our Galloway breeding, we repeatedly encountered small-sized animals. Curious about this phenomenon, we started researching “minis” and quickly discovered the large miniature cattle breeding associations in America which, however, do not exist in Europe.
Importing animals from overseas breeding associations was not an option for us due to strict US disease control regulations and the extremely high associated costs. Instead, over the years, we selectively acquired small-sized cattle from across United States and Canada and bred them together. Some of these animals had originally been imported from the EU. years earlier.
This is how we developed our foundation stock of Mini without engaging in harmful breeding practices. Unlike some other breeders, we did not rely on the genetic defect “dwarfism.” This condition, often caused by chondrodysplasia, is a degenerative cartilage disorder** that inhibits bone growth. We have seen the negative effects of such breeding approaches in other animals, such as the hip problems in German Shepherds.
For this reason, we selectively breed naturally small cattle without genetic defects, ensuring they remain healthy, pain-free, and long-lived.
